It will impact the type of visitation or custody that you have with your children and it will also have implications in regards to spousal support. If there is a finding of domestic violence there can be a restraining order imposed by the court up to a period of five years that will significantly hamper your ability to obtain or keep employment as well as other factors regarding the parenting that you may have with your children.
